Shoutout to Cameron Crego, a senior at TVHS and a dedicated member of Boy Scout Troop 159 in Ashville, for completing his Eagle Scout Project! A huge thank you to Pickaway County Soil and Water for visiting our second graders and teaching an engaging lesson on pollution! Students learned about point source and nonpoint source pollution—like vehicle oil, pesticides, herbicides, winter salt, and litter—and how these pollutants enter our watershed. Hands-on learning like this helps our students understand the importance of protecting our environment!

A huge thank you to TVEF and PPG for their generous funding, which allowed us to purchase STEM LEGO kits! This week, Mrs. Bartholow's class and our fifth-grade student leadership team teamed up to build Arctic snowmobiles, fostering creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. We are so grateful for this opportunity to bring hands-on STEM learning to our students! ❄️🔧

Today, South Bloomfield Elementary participated in our 4th annual Global Play Day! A day filled with creativity, collaboration, and fun as students explored the power of unstructured play.

Last week, Mrs. Bristle’s class had a cozy and creative day making hot chocolate with our amazing speech-language pathologist, Makayla Martin! Fun, teamwork, and a delicious treat made this activity extra special!




This morning, we had an incredible guest on the announcements—Liam! He absolutely rocked it and brought great energy to start our day. Liam earned this special opportunity as a Viking Award prize!
