
Today, our second graders teamed up with eighth graders from Teays Valley East Middle School for a fun and creative turkey cage activity! 🦃 Together, they worked to design and build cages to save the turkey from Thanksgiving. This awesome collaboration brought big ideas and teamwork to life while fostering connections across grade levels. Great job, everyone! Thank you, TVEMS.











Today, our 1st and 4th grade buddies teamed up to build Mayflower boats! 🚢 They put their creations to the test, seeing if they could float while holding 102 passengers (pennies). Buddy time is all about connection, collaboration, and ensuring every student feels supported by their peers. What a fun and meaningful way to learn together!











Another impressive math forum in Mrs. Liu’s class this Friday! 🧮 Students confidently shared their chosen subtraction strategies, while their peers celebrated their thinking, asked thoughtful questions, and offered challenges. These forums are a fantastic way for students to refine their math communication skills and discover new strategies for solving problems. Way to grow as mathematicians!




Thank you to Pickaway County Soil and Water and Ms. Huston for planning and bringing the amazing soil tunnel experience to our third graders! What a fun and engaging way to learn about the importance of soil in our environment! 🌎 🪴

Today, our school came together for a heartfelt Veterans Day assembly led entirely by our amazing students! Our 2nd graders filled the gym with pride through their beautiful songs, and our 5th graders shared powerful poetry and research honoring those who served. The gym was festively decorated with student artwork. Thank you to our veterans for serving our country and protecting our freedoms. We are forever thankful for your service! 🇺🇸











Mrs. Riffle & Mrs. Minton’s classes had a google meet chat with some Air Force Airmen today to talk about their jobs in preparation for Veterans Day learning. 🇺🇸





Thank you to our amazing PTO for a memorable day with the Columbus Zoo! Our preschool through 2nd graders had a fantastic time learning about animals up close and creating lasting memories. Tomorrow, it’s the 3rd-5th graders’ turn to join in the adventure!









Our 5th graders are participating in the D.A.R.E. program with SRO Officer Deputy Jared! Through lessons on decision-making, peer pressure, and safety, these students are learning valuable skills to make positive choices. Thank you, Deputy Jared, for your guidance and support!











Exciting news! We just kicked off our Student Leadership Team, made up of 5th grade students chosen for their leadership skills and vision for our school’s future. 🎃🛒 Mrs. Kincaid's class had a spook-tacular time at Wal-Mart on Monday! Our students got hands-on experience budgeting, pricing, scanning, and paying for trick-or-treat candy for the staff. A fun way to build essential life skills just in time for Trick or Treat! 👻🍬
