Today we welcomed our youngest learners—our preschoolers—on their very first day of school! 🌟 Their excitement, big smiles, and tiny backpacks filled our halls with joy. Here’s to a wonderful year of growing, learning, and making new friends at South Bloomfield Elementary!

This morning at Convocation, we had the privilege of surprising some incredible staff members with special honors. ALL In Award recipients were recognized for going above and beyond in their commitment to our students, their colleagues, and the Viking community. Educator of Excellence Award recipients were honored for their outstanding teaching, dedication, and positive impact in the classroom. Today during Summer Learning Camp, students took part in a Music Therapy session filled with rhythm, creativity, and connection! These sessions help students build social and communication skills in a fun, engaging way.

📚🎉 Fourth Grade Book Swap Day was a hit! Students brought in books to trade, enjoyed some cookies, and played a few rounds of Dad Joke Bingo 🤣. Nothing better than laughing, snacking, and diving into a great new read! 🍪📖

🔧👩‍🍳🔬 Our students have been diving into hands-on learning with career exploration kits from the Eastland-Fairfield Career Center! These amazing kits give students a chance to explore real-world careers and discover the programs available at the high school career center. A big thank you to the Eastland-Fairfield development team for helping our students dream big and plan for the future! 💡🎓

The Knights of Pythias supported our first and second graders in encouraging them to read for a chance to win a bike as part of their Read and Ride program. Today we had four lucky winners. 🚲📚💙💛
