Today we celebrate our school librarian, Mrs. Hill, who inspires us with her love of reading. She is one of the first warm, welcoming faces our students see each morning in the drop-off line, setting the tone for a great day. From her creative and eye-catching bulletin boards to the exciting author visits she plans each year, Mrs. Hill brings books to life in so many ways. She also works behind the scenes coordinating PARS and constantly finding new ways to make reading fun and engaging for all. In STEM class, our 2nd and 3rd graders explored the concept of drag by designing and testing their very own peep parachutes!
Using the engineering design process, students planned, built, and improved their parachutes with one goal in mind- keeping their peep safe during a drop from the top of the playground equipment.
It was amazing to see their creativity, problem-solving and teamwork in action! 🧺🪂🐥

Kicking off Paraprofessional-Appreciation Week by celebrating our Mid-Day Magic Makers! 🏃♂️💨🍱
From officiating high-stakes kickball games and comforting scraped knees on the playground to mastering the "lost lunchbox" and opening those tricky milk cartons, these heroes do it all. Whether they are braving the elements outside or managing the lunchtime hustle with incredible patience, they ensure our students are safe, fueled up, and ready to learn.

TVWMS band members visited our 5th graders to share the many instruments they can choose from when they reach middle school. Our students loved hearing the different sounds and learning about the opportunities that await them in band.
