
Our 1st graders ended their space unit with some out-of-this-world activities! 🚀🪐👩🏾🚀🌎☀️ Students have been learning about the sun’s energy, day/night patterns, planets, astronauts and our moon. They extended their learning with some additional topics and hands-on activities!

🌾🐄 Our 4th graders had a fantastic time at Pickaway County Ag Day! From learning about crops and animals to seeing how agriculture impacts our everyday lives, it was a day full of hands-on learning and fun. Huge thanks Pickaway County Farm Bureau, Pickaway County Agricultural and Event Center, Pickaway County Community Foundation, South Central Power Co., Rural King Supply, local FFA chapters and Pickaway Soil & Water Conservation District who made this experience possible! 🍎🚜











Practicing safety first! 🚍 Our students did a great job learning how to safely evacuate the bus during today’s drill. Thank you to our staff, SRO, and bus drivers for their help.











We were excited to welcome a group of South Bloomfield Elementary students and their popcorn shop to the September Board of Education meeting! They served up popcorn with a smile then shared details about their shop with everyone. These students learn valuable life skills through their participation and they provide joy and a snack to the staff.

🍿 Our Life Skills Popcorn Cart was back in action this week! Students are practicing communication, following directions, and building functional work skills while serving up smiles (and snacks!). 👏








This week, PARS visited our students during library time to share powerful life lessons! Students learned about decision-making, goal-setting, managing emotions, effective communication, and how to identify bullying situations.




This week, Principal Mrs. Swanger and Assistant Principal Mr. Lemieux joined our 5th graders for a fun round of Jeopardy! The game helped students learn the rules and tools from the handbook in an engaging and memorable way.

Our Kindergarteners are diving into Arts and Letters Module 1, Lesson 4 all about apples! 🍎 They used their five senses to explore apples and share their discoveries during a gallery walk. What a fun way to learn, create, and connect!
