The Pickaway County ESC is running a month-long Credit Recovery and Enrichment Summer Camp June 3-28 for grades 8-12. Due to a scheduling conflict, the Teays Valley High School FOR Club pickleball tournament will now be held on Wednesday, May 8, from 6-9 p.m., with games starting at 6:30. All games will be played at the TVHS tennis courts. If you would like to be a part of the tournament, sign up here:

CCP Information Night will be held in the TVHS auditorium on January 24 from 6-7:30 p.m. for any student who plans to take college courses at the high school or on a college campus for the 2024-2025 school year. A parent must be in attendance with the student during the meeting. Students who are currently enrolled in the 2023-2024 school year do not need to attend. We hope to see you there!
We are excited to welcome Heith Good and Mike France to the Board of Education! Tonight was their first official meeting as members of the Board.
Congratulations to the Board of Education members who were sworn in as members of the Board this evening. Roxanne Davis was reelected to the Board while Heith Good and Mike France were elected to their first terms.

TVHS substitute teacher Lori Madden - "Mrs. Madden just completed a long-term substitute position at TVHS. The staff and administration cannot say enough wonderful things about Mrs. Madden. She approached each day with enthusiasm and cared about the students and ensured that they were receiving high quality instruction."
Teays Valley High School intervention specialist Shelly Arledge - "Ms. Arledge has really assisted our special education department this school year. She has worked closely with our newly hired staff members and has provided them guidance and encouragement. When something needs done, Ms. Arledge steps up and lends a helping hand!"
Congratulations to Teays Valley High School environmental science teacher Jessica Holes and the TVHS environmental science program for being honored as a branch level recipient of the Environmental Excellence in Education Program from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.
This is awarded to recognize their achievement in improving Ohio's environment, implementing interdisciplinary environmental education into their curriculum and providing opportunities for students to be involved in environmental stewardship.

Congratulations to Abby Baker (left) and Cooper McManaway (right) for their winning submissions to the "Write in Red" essay contest conducted by ADAMH (Paint Valley Alcohol, Drug Adiction, and Mental Health).
Abby took 1st place winning a $100 cash prize and a chance to win a $500 county scholoarship.
Cooper took 2nd place and will recieve a gift from TEAM 23.

Congratulations to Teays Valley High School seniors Aaron Burch and Alexis Cupp who are being recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) as Commended Students in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program! About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2024 competition by taking the 2022 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) last October.
