Today teachers spent their day engaged in professional development focusing on the importance on nonfiction read alouds and vocabulary. These teachers were hard at work finding enriching vocabulary to go with new science-centered read aloud picture books. We can’t wait to see these amazing books being utilized in classrooms.






Celebrating Disability Awareness Month with a special educational session! 📚 First graders and Pickaway County Board of Developmental Disabilities come together for an enriching experience, each 1st graders receiving a copy of the children's book "Just Ask." 💙 #InclusionMatters #CommunityEngagement











Cheers to Mrs. Emory's fifth graders as the celebrate with a delightful Readers Cafe on Friday! 📚☕ They've celebrated a month of dedicated reading, both in school and at home throughout February. 🎉📖











Exciting day at SBE as our Superintendent, Kyle Wolfe and Assistant Superintendent, Shannon Helser joined the first graders for a special reading of 'The Cat in the Hat'! 📚🎉

Friday, the first graders had an exciting time concluding their geography unit as they crafted landforms with kinetic sand, crafted intricate maps, and constructed bridges used to cross a river.











We kick off kindness week by celebrating these students and their acts of kindness and friendship. Students making the world brighter one small act of kindness at a time. 💙
