For this project, South Bloomfield Elementary students celebrated the big things they can accomplish together by each contributing a little piece. They decorated individual feathers that were compiled together to create this spectacular set of wings. They were inspired by the art of American Muralist Kelsey Montague, who creates similar wing murals that people can interact with by standing in front and snapping a photo to look as if they themselves have some gorgeous wings!

Congratulations to the TV treasurer’s department, which is led by treasurer Trey Fausnaugh. They were honored by the Ohio Auditor of State with the Auditor of State Award at tonight’s Board of Education meeting. Of the 6,000 entities that are audited each year, this award is only given to the top 10%. We are grateful for this department for their dedication to the district and its finances.
