Representatives from Walnut traveled to Washington D. C. to accept the National Blue Ribbon School award from the U.S. Department of Education. Congratulations to Walnut and Viking Nation on this prestigious national honor!


Thanks to generous donations from Viking Nation to our annual Stuff the Bus food drive, we donated 1,000s of food items to the Ashville Food Pantry this morning!

We are thrilled to announce that Walnut was named a National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education! They are one of just 19 schools in Ohio to receive this prestigious award. Friday night was TV Educational Foundation night at Viking Stadium. The Foundation presented a check to the district committing to award $284,000 throughout the 2023-2024 school year in classroom grants and scholarships. We are grateful for this organization that does so much for our students and staff!


Please help us stock the shelves of the Ashville Food Pantry through our annual "Stuff the Bus" food drive! We will be collecting donations at all of the TV school offices until September 28. Donations can also be dropped off at the bus outside of the Homecoming football game on September 29.

Our staff wrapped up Viking Academy today. This group of staff members took part in a bus tour around the district lead by Superintendent Kyle Wolfe. They got a glimpse into the many communities our buses travel each day and learned some interesting and fun facts about the district.

We kicked off the 8th annual Viking Academy this morning with a keynote speech from Margaret Searle. It’s great to see the auditorium packed with Viking staff members getting ready for the school year!
