ALL In Award recipients were recognized for going above and beyond in their commitment to our students, their colleagues, and the Viking community. This morning at Convocation, we had the honor of celebrating a truly golden milestone! These outstanding educators were presented with the Golden Apple Award from the Pickaway County ESC in recognition of their 30 years of dedication to education.
Their decades of service have impacted countless students, inspired colleagues, and strengthened our Viking community in immeasurable ways. Congratulations to each of you on this incredible achievement!

Deputy Yoder will be serving Ashville Elementary School, Walnut Elementary School and Teays Valley East Middle School, working to build strong relationships with students and staff while helping keep our schools safe and secure. Today during Summer Learning Camp, students took part in a Music Therapy session filled with rhythm, creativity, and connection! These sessions help students build social and communication skills in a fun, engaging way.

Please join us in congratulating and celebrating our amazing 2025 retirees! After years of dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to our students and schools, these incredible individuals are closing one chapter and beginning a well-deserved new one. Thank you for the lasting impact you've made on our district. You’ve inspired generations, built lasting relationships, and helped shape the future. We are so grateful for everything you've done! The TV Educational Foundation awarded $20,000 to the Teays Valley elementary schools to support the launch of a brand-new STEM class for the upcoming school year! This exciting addition will become part of the specials rotation at all four elementary schools, giving every student the opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on, engaging activities. The goal is to spark curiosity, foster problem-solving skills, and lay a strong foundation in these critical areas starting at a young age.

Walnut students, staff, families and PTO came together to raise an incredible $970 for Honor Flight Columbus. This donation will help honor and support veterans by providing them with an unforgettable experience visiting Washington, D.C.

A group of TV staff members wrapped up Orton Gillingham training today. This training is a structured approach to helping struggling readers. The skills gained and reviewed during this training will be invaluable for our students!

Congratulations to the TV treasurer’s department, which is led by treasurer Trey Fausnaugh. They were honored by the Ohio Auditor of State with the Auditor of State Award at tonight’s Board of Education meeting. Of the 6,000 entities that are audited each year, this award is only given to the top 10%. We are grateful for this department for their dedication to the district and its finances.

Congratulations to the TV treasurer’s department, led by Treasurer Trey Fausnaugh, for receiving recognition from the House of Representatives for receiving an Auditor of State Award in honor of its timely, accurate and comprehensive financial statements. Thank you to this hard working team for their meticulous dedication to their work.

Summer learning camps wrapped up today with some music therapy, outdoor phonics,cooperative game play, cooking and popsicles.  The students had a great time sharpening their learning and life skills.
