Friday night was TV Educational Foundation night at Viking Stadium. The Foundation presented a check to the district committing to award $284,000 throughout the 2023-2024 school year in classroom grants and scholarships. We are grateful for this organization that does so much for our students and staff!

Special shout out to our parent volunteers, staff volunteers and Mr. Mitchell's homeroom for help with mum distribution yesterday. Thank you to all of your families who participated in this PTO fundraiser.




Please help us stock the shelves of the Ashville Food Pantry through our annual "Stuff the Bus" food drive! We will be collecting donations at all of the TV school offices until September 28. Donations can also be dropped off at the bus outside of the Homecoming football game on September 29.

Our 4th graders are learning about science tools. They are practicing using balance scales and weighing school supplies.

Congratulations, Colton! Colton shared his story about a cheetah with Mrs. Swanger today. He was awarded for his extra hard work.

Last week, Mrs. Swanger and the Kindergarten students spent time getting to know each other. We are so excited to see our Kindergartners thriving in school.

Mrs. Hill has opened a restaurant for "Book tasting" our new books. Students are "ordering" what they'd like to read next.

Our third graders learned and discussed the changes in states of matter while making butter: start with a liquid (cream), which becomes a foamy solid (whipped cream), which then separates into a solid (butter) and a liquid (buttermilk).


Kicking off the year with an assembly to review our expectations and recognize our Golden Viking Award winners. We are LEARNERS, LEADERS, and FRIENDS! We are SBE CHAMPIONS!!!!
