What an incredible way to wrap up the summer! ☀️💙 Our final Playground Pop-Up and PTO Back-to-School Bash was a huge success! It was wonderful to see so many of our Viking families laughing, playing, and connecting before the start of another amazing school year. A heartfelt thank you to Teays Valley Educational Foundation (TVEF) for generously sponsoring our Summer Activity Bags and to our amazing South Bloomfield PTO for bringing Business of Bounce and making the evening even more fun for our students! We also want to extend a very special thank you to Holly, Meg, Mrs. Perry, Mr. Mendenhall, Mrs. Fletcher for your help tonight. Also thank you to Mr. Lemieux and Mrs. Swanger for their time, energy, and dedication in making these events possible. Thank you to everyone who joined us this summer. We can’t wait to welcome our Vikings back to school soon! 💙💛

As part of Viking Academy, 70 staff members, including teachers, administrators, secretaries and bus drivers had the opportunity to visit Arsenal-1 at Anduril, gaining a firsthand look at the innovative work happening right here in our community. The visit provided valuable insight into the exciting career opportunities in manufacturing available to both our students and community members. Experiences like these help us better connect classroom to careers while continuing to strengthen our partnership with Anduril. We’re excited to keep building this relationship and expanding opportunities that will prepare our students for successful futures, right here in their own backyard. #VikingPride

It's still summer... but inside our buildings, the learning has already begun! Today marked the kickoff of Viking Academy, our three-day professional development event, and our staff members are making the most of their summer by investing in new ideas, collaborating with colleagues, and sharpening their skills for the year ahead. Thank you to all of our educators for choosing to spend part of your summer growing alongside one another. We can't wait to see all the great things you'll bring back to your classrooms!

A huge thank you to all of our amazing families who joined us this morning for our Summer Playground Pop-Up! It was wonderful seeing so many smiling faces enjoying time together before the new school year. A special thank you to the Harrison Township Fire Department for bringing the fun with their fire truck and sprinkler activities! 🚒💦 The kids had an absolute blast cooling off and making summer memories. ☀️Update: Harrison Twp. Fire Dept. is Joining us on Friday! 💦 📍 Where: The Big Playground 🕙 When: Friday, July 17 | 10:00–11:00 AM 🛍️ What: 100 FREE Summer Activity Bags (first-come, first-served!) We’re also excited to welcome the Harrison Township Fire Department, who will be joining us to provide sprinkler fun in the playground parking lot to help everyone cool off during the hot weather! With a warm forecast expected, please have your child wear shoes and clothes they’re happy to get wet in, and don’t forget sunscreen and a towel-if needed. Summer Activity Bags are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so plan to arrive early to grab yours before they’re gone! We can’t wait to see everyone back on the playground for another morning of laughter, friendship, and summer fun! See you Friday!

Is your little one joining us this August? Kindergarten is such an exciting milestone, and we want to help make the transition as smooth as possible. Helping your child feel physically, socially, and emotionally ready allows them to step into the classroom with confidence!

Field Day was one for the books! A huge thank you to our PTO and Mr. Mendenhall for planning such a fun-filled day for our students. We also appreciate our amazing teachers, staff, and volunteers for bringing the energy and making the day so special! ☀️🎉
