Is your little one joining us this August? Kindergarten is such an exciting milestone, and we want to help make the transition as smooth as possible. Helping your child feel physically, socially, and emotionally ready allows them to step into the classroom with confidence!

Remember: it’s perfectly okay if they haven't mastered everything yet—every child develops at their own pace. Think of this list as a roadmap to celebrate what they’ve already achieved and a guide for what to practice next!

We’ll also be giving a very special cheer for our Grand Marshals, Ms. Huston and Mrs. Krause, as we honor their retirement and thank them for their many years of dedication and service to our students and school community. 💙💛

Field Day was one for the books! A huge thank you to our PTO and Mr. Mendenhall for planning such a fun-filled day for our students. We also appreciate our amazing teachers, staff, and volunteers for bringing the energy and making the day so special! ☀️🎉

Today we recognized and celebrated our amazing 5th graders as they prepare for their next adventure at Teays Valley East and Teays Valley West! Wishing each of you the very best as you begin middle school — once a Bloomfield student, always part of our family! 💙💛

Our 5th graders took an exciting step toward their future with visits to TVWMS and TVEMS! As they wrap up their elementary journey, students had the opportunity to tour the buildings, meet staff, and get a glimpse of all the opportunities waiting for them in middle school. 💙💛

A huge thank you to the Knights of Pythias for wrapping up our Read and Ride program in such an exciting way! 🚲📚 Throughout the program, our 1st and 2nd grade students earned raffle tickets by reading, and today four lucky readers rode away with brand new bikes! We are so proud of our students for their hard work and love of reading, and so grateful for community partners who help make learning fun and rewarding.

These students worked together to create this poster and were so proud to share their work with our office staff. We love seeing collaboration, creativity, and teamwork in action! 💙💛

What a Talent Show! 🌟 From incredible student performances to lots of laughter, as we wrapped up with a staff “children’s movie makeover” that had the crowd cheering and smiling from ear to ear. Thank you to everyone who helped make the show such a fun and memorable celebration of creativity, courage, and school spirit! 🎬✨

A huge thank you to the 8th grade TVEMS students for spending part of their Community Service Day helping beautify our school grounds! 🌱💙💛 We appreciate your hard work mulching around our building and the pride you showed in giving back to the community.

Today’s PTO APEX Fun Run may have moved indoors, but the energy never slowed down! Our students brought the excitement, determination, and school spirit every step of the way. We are so proud of these kids for running their hearts out for their school! 💙🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃💛

Our 2nd graders had a great time exploring and creating in Makerspace! 🛠️✨ Thank you, Mrs. Wasem, for providing this amazing opportunity for our students to learn, build, and think creatively!

Our 1st graders put their economics lessons into action during Economics Day! 💵✨ Students spent the Bloomfield Bucks they earned and saved on fun rewards like movies, snacks, extra playground time, a dance party, tattoos, and ice cream treats! 🍦🎉

It was Try Day Friday! 🎉 Our 2nd graders expanded their palates by taste-testing fresh sugar snap peas. Incorporating new fruits and vegetables into our week is a fun way to encourage healthy habits and brave tasting! Way to go, 2nd grade! 🌟🫛
