Our 5th graders took an exciting step toward their future with visits to TVWMS and TVEMS! As they wrap up their elementary journey, students had the opportunity to tour the buildings, meet staff, and get a glimpse of all the opportunities waiting for them in middle school. 💙💛

Throughout the program, our 1st and 2nd grade students earned raffle tickets by reading, and today four lucky readers rode away with brand new bikes! We are so proud of our students for their hard work and love of reading, and so grateful for community partners who help make learning fun and rewarding.

What a Talent Show! 🌟 From incredible student performances to lots of laughter, as we wrapped up with a staff “children’s movie makeover” that had the crowd cheering and smiling from ear to ear. Thank you to everyone who helped make the show such a fun and memorable celebration of creativity, courage, and school spirit! 🎬✨

Our 1st graders put their economics lessons into action during Economics Day! 💵✨ Students spent the Bloomfield Bucks they earned and saved on fun rewards like movies, snacks, extra playground time, a dance party, tattoos, and ice cream treats! 🍦🎉
It was Try Day Friday! 🎉 Our 2nd graders expanded their palates by taste-testing fresh sugar snap peas. Incorporating new fruits and vegetables into our week is a fun way to encourage healthy habits and brave tasting! Way to go, 2nd grade! 🌟🫛
Our fifth grade students had an incredible experience at Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools "Career Discovery Days" at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds! Students explored a variety of future career paths through hands-on activities and interactive learning experiences. Students were able to discover new interests and imagine the possibilities for their future.

Today our 4th and 5th graders wrapped up their drone unit with an exciting drone demonstration led by our SRO, Deputy Jared Duskey! Students had the opportunity to see the drones in action and learn how the sheriff’s department uses this technology to serve and support our community. A big thank you to Deputy Duskey for this real-world learning experience! 🚔✨
Our second graders have been learning about how food nourishes your body. They have discussed having healthy eating habits, as well as nutrients found in foods. Today was our first try-day Friday where students got to taste test the kiwi fruit. Many of them discovered that even though they are green, they’re actually quite good! 🥝🤩

Mrs. Bristle, Ms. Forney, and Mrs. Kincaid’s classes enjoyed a fun-filled trip to the park complete with a picnic, laughter, and time together outdoors. From playground adventures to sharing lunch with friends, it was a great day to learn, explore, and make memories together!
