The TV Educational Foundation awarded $20,000 to the Teays Valley elementary schools to support the launch of a brand-new STEM class for the upcoming school year! This exciting addition will become part of the specials rotation at all four elementary schools, giving every student the opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on, engaging activities. The goal is to spark curiosity, foster problem-solving skills, and lay a strong foundation in these critical areas starting at a young age.

Today the Teays Valley High School Global Scholars diploma program celebrated their graduates with a Take Action Fair. Seniors Brooklyn Herbert and Cameron Crego presented their projects that addressed global issues in the Teays Valley community.


Shout out to our Teays Valley High School HOSA students who attended the State Leadership Conference in Toledo this week! These future health professionals are positively representing Teays Valley as they participate in competitive events, leadership training, and networking opportunities with students from across Ohio. We're proud of their hard work and dedication!


Congratulations to Teays Valley High School juniors Katherine Charter and Divina Doan for being selected to attend Buckeye Girls State this summer! Hosted by the American Legion Auxiliary, Buckeye Girls State is a prestigious program that gives students the opportunity to learn about government, leadership, and civic responsibility through hands-on experiences. We are so proud of Katherine and Divina for representing Teays Valley at this incredible event!


We welcomed Teays Valley High School students Makylie Hayhurst-Berry, Mario McClaskey and Makinna Pinnion to tonight’s Board of Education meeting. They are a part of the Teacher Prep Program, which is in its first year of existence at TVHS. They shared how it has positively impacted their senior year and plans for their futures as educators.


We recognized bus driver Tabatha Carson during tonight’s Board of Education meeting. She demonstrated Teays Valley’s pillar - We provide a safe and caring environment - by going the extra mile to ensure the safety of one of our students.


Congratulations to the TVHS HOSA – Future Health Professionals team! In just its second year, the team placed in the top 10 in their division at the recent regional competition. Congratulations to Lydia McConahay, Abigail Daniels, Abigail Blake, and Zara Safdar for qualifying to compete at the State level! We are so proud of their dedication and passion for the health sciences field!

Congratulations to the Teays Valley High School Mock Trial Team! Last Friday, the team traveled to the Hocking County Courthouse to compete in two trials. They brought their best arguments, sharp skills, and teamwork to the courtroom, earning a victory in one of the two trials!
Special recognition goes to Divina Doan, who was named Outstanding Attorney, and Cohen Carpenter, who was named Outstanding Witness for one side of the case.


Congratulations to Teays Valley High School for being named a Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Distinguished School! This prestigious recognition highlights our commitment to providing students with exceptional learning opportunities in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Through PLTW programs, our students gain hands-on, real-world experiences that prepare them for future success in college and careers. Being named a Distinguished School places TVHS among an elite group of schools nationwide that demonstrate outstanding achievement in empowering students with the skills they need for the 21st century.


The Board of Education recognized Teays Valley High School senior Tristian Graham for being named to the Division II All-Ohio First Team Offense. Tristian was a standout athlete on the football team as an offensive lineman.


At tonight’s Board of Education meeting, we recognized Teays Valley High School senior Julia Bush for being named as a QuestBridge Scholar, through which she has received a full scholarship to the University of Virginia.


We are excited to share a new club at Teays Valley High School… the TVHS Debate Club! The club presidents, Maddie Frymyer and Avery Hostutler recently visited Worthington Kilbourne to collaborate with members of their Junior State of America club.
The TVHS Debate Club meets Thursdays at 2:40 p.m. in Mrs. Sisley’s room. All high school students are welcome to attend!


Congratulations to TVHS student Lanay Greene for being inducted into the National
Technical Honor Society at Eastland Career Center! Lanay is a part of the Criminal Justice Program.


We are thrilled to announce that Teays Valley High School senior Julia Bush has been named a QuestBridge Scholar and has been matched with her first-choice school, the University of Virginia! She will receive a full four-year scholarship to UVA! Julia plans to major in Journalism and Political Science and pursue a career as a political journalist after earning her bachelor's degree.
