Seven Teays Valley High School students were honored with certificates for their nomination: Abigail Baker, Katherine Charter, Madeline Frymyer, Lillian Gaal, Mitchell Isralewitz, Jensen Koch, and Nolan Lupfer.

Abigail Baker – awarded the Youth Leader Award and invited to attend the “Town Meeting on Tomorrow” National Conference in St. Louis this October.

At last night’s Board of Education meeting, we had the privilege of recognizing several individuals and organizations who have made meaningful contributions to our schools and students. Today during Summer Learning Camp, students took part in a Music Therapy session filled with rhythm, creativity, and connection! These sessions help students build social and communication skills in a fun, engaging way.

The TV Educational Foundation awarded $20,000 to the Teays Valley elementary schools to support the launch of a brand-new STEM class for the upcoming school year! This exciting addition will become part of the specials rotation at all four elementary schools, giving every student the opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on, engaging activities. The goal is to spark curiosity, foster problem-solving skills, and lay a strong foundation in these critical areas starting at a young age.

Today the Teays Valley High School Global Scholars diploma program celebrated their graduates with a Take Action Fair. Seniors Brooklyn Herbert and Cameron Crego presented their projects that addressed global issues in the Teays Valley community.


Shout out to our Teays Valley High School HOSA students who attended the State Leadership Conference in Toledo this week! These future health professionals are positively representing Teays Valley as they participate in competitive events, leadership training, and networking opportunities with students from across Ohio. We're proud of their hard work and dedication!


Congratulations to Teays Valley High School juniors Katherine Charter and Divina Doan for being selected to attend Buckeye Girls State this summer! Hosted by the American Legion Auxiliary, Buckeye Girls State is a prestigious program that gives students the opportunity to learn about government, leadership, and civic responsibility through hands-on experiences. We are so proud of Katherine and Divina for representing Teays Valley at this incredible event!


We welcomed Teays Valley High School students Makylie Hayhurst-Berry, Mario McClaskey and Makinna Pinnion to tonight’s Board of Education meeting. They are a part of the Teacher Prep Program, which is in its first year of existence at TVHS. They shared how it has positively impacted their senior year and plans for their futures as educators.


We recognized bus driver Tabatha Carson during tonight’s Board of Education meeting. She demonstrated Teays Valley’s pillar - We provide a safe and caring environment - by going the extra mile to ensure the safety of one of our students.


Congratulations to the TVHS HOSA – Future Health Professionals team! In just its second year, the team placed in the top 10 in their division at the recent regional competition. Congratulations to Lydia McConahay, Abigail Daniels, Abigail Blake, and Zara Safdar for qualifying to compete at the State level! We are so proud of their dedication and passion for the health sciences field!
