There will be a district-wide hat day tomorrow, Friday, May 3, to help raise funds for former TV teacher Sara Bennett who is battling ALS. If families want to donate online instead of sending in cash, they can donate at:

Due to a scheduling conflict, the Teays Valley High School FOR Club pickleball tournament will now be held on Wednesday, May 8, from 6-9 p.m., with games starting at 6:30. All games will be played at the TVHS tennis courts. If you would like to be a part of the tournament, sign up here:

The cost is $50 per 1/2 credit and students will not be scheduled into the course until payment is received.
Fees can be paid online through PaySchools or a Check can be dropped off or mailed to Teays Valley Digital Academy.

7th graders worked extremely hard throughout their Investigating Characterization unit. During this unit students studied an author of their choice by reading two or more novels by that author. They focused on the author’s writing style and craft. Students ended the unit by writing their very own companion book to share their knowledge with others. In their author groups students created fun, unique and engaging activities for their peers to enjoy at our first ever Author Fair! The Author fair was such a fun way to share their work with others!
Our 7th grade girls are headed to the championship game Saturday!!!! Nice job ladies!👊👊

We are excited to welcome Heith Good and Mike France to the Board of Education! Tonight was their first official meeting as members of the Board.
Congratulations to the Board of Education members who were sworn in as members of the Board this evening. Roxanne Davis was reelected to the Board while Heith Good and Mike France were elected to their first terms.
Special thanks to Mr. McCorvey and Miss. Tussing, along with several Spanish and French students, for visiting and sharing information as well as completing activities with our 8th graders.
