Director of Maintenance Honored
Congratulations to Teays Valley Director of Maintenance Brett Perdue for being honored as an "Exemplary School Employee" by the Ohio School Board Association! Brett and his team do an incredible job of maintaining the buildings and taking care of issues that arise at each building. Check out the article that was recently in the Circleville Herald about him.
According to the Ohio Department of Education Web site for Academic Content Standards, “Academic content standards are statements that describe what kids should know and be able to do by the end of each grade. They help families, students and educators know what to expect students to be learning at each grade level.”

Each elementary school has a Just Say No Club. The clubs get involved in community leadership activities and the meetings have different speakers and programs each month to promote safe, drug free schools and community service.

TV Educational Foundation
The Teays Valley Educational Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization, founded in 2007. Its mission is to create and utilize community resources to promote excellence within the Teays Valley Local School District. The Foundation has already awarded nearly $30,000 in grants just this school year.
