Please see the links below for information about our Reopening Plans for the 2020-2021 school year. Countless hours have been devoted to developing the information in these documents. The Task Force began meeting in May continued to work throughout the summer to create a plan that will address all levels of reaction to COVID-19. We have a face to face plan, a hybrid plan and an entirely remote plan. We have committed to the hybrid model for the first 9 weeks. Masks will be required of all students and staff according to a mandate by Governor DeWine. We have worked to adjust classrooms and find creative ways to use spaces in our buildings to allow students and staff to meet social distancing expectations as often as possible.
As you read through this plan I ask you to be understanding and recognize that these uncertain times require safe responses. Some people are more comfortable out in public and others are more cautious. We have tried to develop plans that keep our students safe while receiving the best education possible. Please be aware that all Teays Valley students also have the option to enroll in our digital academy and learn from home.
Keep in mind that things can change quickly during this time and I ask you to review these plans and make any necessary preparations.
