School begins at the following times in each of our grade levels:
High School - 7:38 am
Teays Valley East Middle School - 7:31 a.m.
Teays Valley West Middle School - 7:31 a.m.
Elementary Schools - 9 a.m.

There has been some question about the early arrival of students at the buildings. Due to the established times when someone will be in the buildings to provide supervision of students and to provide consistency across the district, the following are the times students will be permitted to enter into the buildings:
High School - 7:25 a.m.
Middle School - 7:25 a.m.
Elementary School - 8:50 a.m.
We understand there are a number of students who walk or drive to school or who have parents drop them off on their way to a workplace. Please try to coordinate these drop-off and arrival times with the above entry times so students will not have to stand outside the buildings during inclement weather. Teays Valley is concerned about the safety of all our students and appreciate the cooperation of our students and their families. To help families coordinate early dismissal and the need to sign a student out during the school day, please review the bell schedule for your child's school. The bell schedule is available on each of the schools' home pages.
