I hope that you join me in excited anticipation of great things to come in the Teays Valley Schools during the 2012-2013 school year!
Teays Valley Schools have demonstrated excellence over the past years in how we have performed in state testing programs and in how we have performed in preparing our students to offer positive contributions to the society in which we live.
I have seen many changes in my 38 years as a Teays Valley employee. The changes reflect a constantly changing target in meeting the expectations of today’s world. One of our constant challenges is to offer our students the opportunity to experience the advances in technology. We are proud that our graduates have had that chance to learn to function with today’s technology.
Our community has supported Teays Valley students in many ways. Our buildings are new and up to date. Our community has also shown support in providing the financial structure necessary to offer our students an education that will allow them to compete in today’s world. Our community and schools are clearly a positive reflection of each other.
This year we will send nearly 300 graduates into a very competitive job market. We believe, because of the preparation they receive, our graduates will perform well and make our community and world better.
