I have always been an avid reader and strive to be a life-long learner. I feel very strongly that education is not something that only takes place during the school-age years, but should continue as we evolve and grow over time. I hope to pass this belief on to my students, as well as my own children.

I have a wonderful husband, Jon, who stays home with our twin boys, Jackson and Jarrett, and our newest arrival, Grayson. When we aren't playing with the boys or catching up on sleep, we tend to watch the Discovery Channel and shows about home renovations.
